RecollectionThe bed sheets were too soft for her—made her feel weak. She tossed the sheets off and piled furs atop herself to ward off the cool night air. The prickly feeling of the leather and hair made her feel home, made her feel calm. A heavy breeze blew into the bedchamber bringing with it the smell of the fruit garden down below. The smell of peaches and oranges never appealed to her anywhere, she turns over onto her side and empties her mind.
Memories came flooding back in as they often do at night. Long lost recollections and ideas better worth forgetting. One memory proved stubborn though, she tried to dislodge it, but still it remained to play in her mind.
It was summer, years ago back home to the north. He was handsome, a man with a rogue’s beard and grin, adorned with gold chains and necklaces, rings and the such made him stick out in this drab northern city. The man looked confused as he tried to get someone to stop so he could ask questions. None stopped, some even callin
200 Plastic StrawsTwo-hundred plastic straws
are scattered on my floor.
They haven't moved an inch
from where I dropped them there before.

A multi-colored frenzy
is dancing on my tiles.
Ghosts long past
come flying back
to stay there for a while.

The straws slipped through my fingers
and so, they all tapped down
like the movement of a second hand,
eternity, an hour.

They fell away, as does the past,
so pick up every piece.
Throw it away or use it well,
or its dance will never cease.

Two hundred plastic straws,
or at least, that's how it was.
Now a hundred ninety-nine lay there,
a pink one in my glass.
*Skeleton Leaf*Skeletons in garden rubbish
Hard to believe they did flourish
Fallen leaves, surrounding trees
Gentle patterns blown in breeze.

Delicate vision of lacy leaf
Looked in amazment, disbelief
Beautiful, belonging to yesteryear
Nature at work, have no fear.

Time to lite, clear the ground
Smoke filled eyes as flames abound
Nature's magic has come full circle
'Till spring appears, thinking Myrtle.

December 21stHands held tight
While the earth takes flight,
Steep plunge and scarring red
Molten screams
Lucid dream
Choking flames and acid sky
Clouded by salt tears
Last loving smile
Before the abyss eats us whole.

No.

Champagne laughter, whirlwind music, collective happy sigh
Stoke the embers
Mark the year
And breathing starts again.

But sometimes
I wish the world would end.
Angel SighsWings fluttering high above.
Oh what she can see!
No corruption and chaos.
Beauty before the eye.

She soar and soars,
High as the clouds,
Seeing what others
Only can dream.

Landing on a ledge,
By water, by sea,
Is when she gazes
Down at true beauty.

The heavens part
And she can view
For miles what any
Painter can't achieve.

Folding her wings
She escapes in peace,
Serenity at her new world.

For when an angel sighs,
The world sighs with.
Spiraling Down..To sore high in the sky, to be free from the ground, to survey the activities of the creatures below.
I never thought to get hit this high up, but I was dealt an unflattering blow, that sent me down to
the depths below.
I never saw what or how it hit me, but I knew the pain had paralyzed my wings. I went spiraling down
from my heavenly sanctuary to the plains of uncharted territories. 
Once apart of an unattainable, beautiful world, now a just another piece of refuge and trash of the 
gutter. No more beautiful wings to sustain me in flight, no more cool breeze to lift me to dizzying 
heights. But no more, not for me.
I have found no safe place like my perch from the clouds, being forced to wallow in the dirt and muck
of the world below, trying to find any shelter. There was no help from the beings on the floor, looked
on as different and unwanted as I trekked towards salvation, an elusive dream.
So there I sit alone, trying to gain hope
Stardusti have this love etched into my skin,
it wraps around my empty heart like a forgotten melody,
lines and verses of nothing but stardust,
seeping into my bones.
Fields of RosesDearest, sacred rose,
The world envies you;
It wishes only
To be as lovely,
Honest, pure, and true.
Proud and holy rose,
You flaunt your beauty
In every shade
From the color of
Love to chastity.
Petals delicate
Gracefully extend,
Reveling in awe
From their admirers
Who praise or pretend
There is life beyond
Its bright, boasting blooms-
Kind in the morning,
Demure in the night,
And wild during noon.
May every girl
These aged secrets learn;
May every  woman
Live to simply be
A rose in a field
Of daisies and thorns.
Don't Be Like red WineA lie
Is like pouring red wine on a white sheet
It will keep spreading
Till it can’t spread anymore
Do you want to be like the wine?
Or do you want to tell the truth
And deal with what comes from it.
Storm Cloud EyesThe rain
Washes away the tears
But can only cloak
The pain;
Heartache still remains
In the midst a storm,
Pretending to disappear.
It carelessly lies,
Concealing the tears cried
Until dry eyes
Can be true and have no need
For a rainy day’s disguise.
Abandon MeAbandon me.

Leave me cold and in the dark,
leave me to wither and shrivel and become small,
leave me to starve and suffer with hunger,
because I am starving for understanding.

If I could feel pain so deeply that it would change me,
maybe I could understand what it means to truly
be
human.

So, abandon me.

Leave me cold and in the dark.

I long for pain.

I long for humanity.
Kneel Before Your QueenCan you kneel before your Queen, a bloody red lie upon your lips?
Take her hand soft as cream, and kiss the ruby she stole?
Listen to the sigh's of her ladies, close your eyes to the sound of a turning lock.
Know that now is your last chance, your last hope for escape - once it's past, you'll be there forevermore.

So kneel at your Queen's feet with that burning dark lie sewn to your lips,
Kiss her rubied finger as she whispers her guilty rights in her own head.
May the ladies sigh's condemn you, may the click of the lock deafen you.
Know that you'll be here forevermore, your heart tick tick ticking away your time.
Place of Not-MeClosed behind my sight
Wrapped inside my very thoughts
I become all I can sense
And I sense all that is

I am the acrylic rain
That restlessly stands still
That shatters me to pieces
Into dust and stars far gone

All's realised through me
Existence cheated by impossibility
Its plastic darkness spreads
And fills my conscious awareness

And veins so cold and slow
Bleed in this place of not-me
I stay but cannot remain
My comprehension overloaded
My mind stretched to infinity

I can be no more
Flood of Hope~ Nothing quite compares
to the beauty of the rain
that crowns me in hope
and carries me away
into another world
where I feel so free
from this broken land
and haunted jubilees.
In the dreary night,
I can hear them sing
of the trifling rain
that this nature brings
and it makes me mad
knowing that they rebuke
this lovely thing called rain
that serves as my refuge.
Under it's healing touch,
my soul is at eternal ease.
Scars of shame disappear
like black holes in the galaxy.
Since my darkness fell
to the power of the rain,
everything is brighter within
and I've never been the same. ~

Zarobljeni u vremenuZačulo se zveketanje kada je Jorri ispustio vilicu na tanjur. Nyllik je podigla pogled sa svog izvješća. Njezine crne šarenice od kojih su se bjeloočnice jedva nazirale bile su u snažnom kontrastu s blijedim licem i srebrnastobijelom kosom; istovremeno su joj davale ozbiljan i krhak izgled.
„Nešto nije u redu s tvojim obrokom?“ upitala je mladića tamne tirkizne kose koji je sjedio nasuprot njoj. Oči su mu trenutno imale crveni obrub na šarenicama, što je značilo da je razdražen.

Little Fragile Thing

As I watch all these
People pass,
I cannot help but wonder
Do they know we’re all
Made of glass?

Have they heard the silent tone
After we carelessly rushed to break
Against hearts of stone
Although we knew what’s at stake?

Do they know the price
He had to pay
Just to make her stay
Just one more day?

Have they felt the little girl bleeding?
If tears left scars her face would be full of them,
Because she was pleading
But the woman beside her never woke up.

As I watch all these
People pass
I cannot help but wonder
Do they know how fragile is
That little beating part
How fragile is
A human heart?

I wrote this quite some time ago, but I remember thinking how sometimes we know our hearts will get broken, but never the less we do it. And sometimes I guess those who break your heart don't even know they did something wrong. Which only makes it worse.

Very emotional, you did an amazing job !! I love the concept, as I have wondered the same thing before, but you put it into better words that I ever could have!!
The last line "That little beating part How fragile is A human heart?" very strong, and the perfect ending to this piece, and also my favorite line, haha!! :P
